Science International Corporation is a Hong Kong based company located in the city center of Hong Kong Island. For over 30 years, we have been servicing local industry and the community by providing high quality products for the advancement in areas of Medical/Healthcare, Environment/Safety in Hong Kong, China and Macau.
Science International Corporation represents many large multinational companies from North America, Europe, Japan and Australia to customers in our business area. Our success has been demonstrated by our continuing expansion, and the commitment to sales and service support to all our customers.
Mission Statement
To assist in the continued improvement of Medical Health Care Services and Environmental/Occupational Safety in Hong Kong, Macau and China through sales, maintenance, education and the provision of a range of high quality equipment to our customers.
To add value to the products we supply, by providing high quality customer training and after sales services. This ensures maximum benefit to our customers and strives to improve the quality of life of those who use our equipment and those who need such equipment for the maintenance and preservation of life.
Company History
Science International Corporation was founded in January 1980 by Mr. Ian Tam. As the President and CEO of the Company, Mr. Tam still operates the Company and oversees its direction on a daily basis.
Since that time, the company has grown to become an employer of over 35 people in the Hong Kong Head Office, and 40 people in the Science International Corp.(Guangzhou) Subsidiary Company ; 20 people in (Shanghai) Subsidiary Company and 15 People in (Beijing ) Subsidiary Company.
Our Subsidiary Company in Guangzhou is located in the new Tian He District in Guangzhou Canton, close to the Hong Kong-Canton INTERCITY Train Terminal and both Shanghai and Beijing subsidiaries are also located in major commercial areas respectively. Though we had started selling into China from Hong Kong since 1982, we did not establish our own office in Guangzhou there until April 1997. And in April 2000, Science International was successfully incorporated as a trading company in China. This allows us to sell in local Chinese RMB currency and participate in local Government tenders. It also gives us advantages in working with different regulatory bodies, like the Chinese SFDA, EPA and OSHA. We have established our own offices in Shanghai and Beijing in 2000 to meet the needs of our growing business in China.
Company Structure
The company in Hong Kong and in China is now divided into 2 Departments based on different areas of specialization. Each department is managed by a well experienced Manager, supported by a group of professional staff. Our company in China is managed by a Deputy General Manager who is assisted by a Group of Managers in each subsidiary office in China.
